Small Gardens Are Rocks Good Or Bad To Have In Small Gardens?

Are rocks good or bad to have in small gardens? - small gardens

I am redoing my garden and realized that there are vast quantities of small rocks. Are they good or bad, since it had to grow plants? Currently I am tons of weed, but it would make a difference if I planted flowers? Have a positive or negative in the garden? Thanks!

The rocks on the ground does not absorb water. The ground is usually not too much water and everything that does not need the plant tolerant to drought. It is also very difficult, the earth, the digging is full of rocks. Even the smallest stone to take a shovel in the ground. The stones can also affect root growth, especially for plants, the root systems are particularly flexible.

I had a box in my backyard, which was filled with gravel decided that someone in the bin for years. It took a long time and it was hard work, cm excavated but all countries of the earth to a depth of about 6 and are selected to remove dirt on the rocks. I have a mesh made of steel with about 3 / 8 inch in diameter. I have a 2x4 chassis and wrapped the screen and then down the other side where I was, the frame with staples heavy (as one attached to nails).

Next, place the screen over a wheelbarrow, shovel full of dirt a little bit about the screen (depending on dry, store the better), and shaking the frame to remove the stones, I dropped behind a retaining wall. It worked very well and have a great workout. He planted many in the region, Giant bird of paradise small annual flowers. And everything was there.
